We look for deficiencies in your potential purchase and provide you with a report with our findings. It's important to remember that a home inspection checklist isn't about finding every single thing wrong in a home, nor is it a repair list. What it is providing you is a helpful report that gives you an idea of the general condition of the home, and a starting point for what you can expect from the home as time goes on.
No matter what your need, is we can help.
Do I need to be there?
We recommend that all of our clients join us on the home inspection. Not only does it give you some time to spend in the home you're about to purchase; but it allows us to physically show you things that we run across and answer any questions you might have while we are all out there. After we're done with the inspection, we like to sit down and go over our findings with you and your agent.
That way you can get started on your next steps before you even get the report.
That sounds really complicated and technical...
Not to worry. One thing we try to achieve is to make our reports easy to understand for everyone. A picture is worth a thousand words, so we try and include many pictures so you have many reference points in a single document. Even then, sometimes something can still be hard to understand. That's why we carry our business phone with us everywhere, and strive to be accessible to any future, current, or past clients at any time. We sometimes get calls years later from clients with maintenance questions.
